IPTV and Intranet / Shop stream @ Lanvin FW

This event was at the Jardin des Plantes in Paris for the Lanvin fashion show.

The goal was to provide IPTV for backstage, with no internet available on site.

And also provide a private stream for their corporate intranet and shops, for employees, shop owners and clients.

I installed an OBE encoder with 4 x 5G modems and 1 x Starlink to stream the PGM to AWS MediaConnect using Zixi.

I then installed a decoder with 4 x 5G modems (Starlink was impossible to install there — it was in another building and we couldn't open the windows due to security).

This allowed models to watch the live show in real time. So quality and latency were important.

I also provided a custom private portal with HLS stream, with login/password protection. This can be watched securely and privately on any platform (tablet, smartphone, laptop), in high quality as I was streaming at 20Mbps 4:2:2 10bit CBR.

This custom portal is built on a robust architecture with worldwide CDN and caching, allowing it to scale to multiple thousands of concurrent viewers, even at this high bitrate and quality.

They were able to install TVs in their offices and easily watch the stream using this portal.
